• about •
Teresa Escober Chen is a full-time professional music instructor, who has taught preschool children through adults since 2003. Her greatest joys are nurturing musicality in all children and watching them blossom through the magic of music.
Teresa was born in Missouri and though she has lived in many places throughout her life, she considers Southern California her home. Her father shared his love of music with her, and he was her first piano teacher when she was four years old. In addition to piano, Teresa also enjoyed singing, playing the violin and flute, and dancing tap and ballet growing up.
Apart from teaching, Teresa regularly serves as an accompanist for choirs, vocal/instrumental soloists, shows, as well as weddings. She is also certified in CPR (Adult, Child, and Infant), AED (Adult and Child), and First Aid by the American Red Cross. In her free time, she enjoys baking (especially cakes), attending concerts, and spending time with her family. Teresa lives with her husband, Kevin, in Anaheim.
Join Teresa as she takes you through a musical journey.
